This card was subject a significant error in its first print: In the OCG, it was called Effect Canceling Barrier, but by accident, it had its name switched with Negation Barrier when it was printed in the TCG. While this was corrected for reprints, the name swap became an injoke for the fandom, and would later inspire Barrier Boost Virus.
